The EIT RawMaterials Call for Innovation, Education, and RIS Projects offers funding to project consortiums from industry, research and education to upscale solutions linked to a sustainable raw materials value chain in Europe. There are also funding opportunities for modern education programmes to skill and train a new generation of talented and entrepreneurial minds, empowering them to be a driving force in Europe’s raw materials sector.

Who can apply

All organisationsthat are eligible for funding under the Horizon Europe programme can apply.

You do not have to be an existing partner organisation of EIT RawMaterials to apply for funding.

Under the Call for KIC Added-Value Activity (KAVA) 12, four specific calls are open for application until 31 January 2024. These are Call for Upscaling Projects, Call for Education Projects, Call for RIS Capacity Building Projects and Call for RIS Innovation Projects. A detailed online information session regarding the mentioned calls will be held in the second week of December, 2023. Details about this online session will be shared in the upcoming days. The online info-session for the calls is highly recommended for the organisations and individuals interested in getting to know EIT RawMaterials and considering applying for the mentioned calls. There will also be a Q&A section where the questions of the participants related to the calls and the EIT RawMaterials will be addressed.
